Crunchy Spiced Chickpeas

This recipe reminds me of popcorn. Sort of. It’s an interesting snack and it would probably be good with other spices too.

crispy spiced chickpeas

Mix in a bowl:

1 can chickpeas, rinsed, drained and dried

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 1/4 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp ground fennel seeds

1/4 tsp paprika

1/8 tsp cayenne

Season with salt and spread on a baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until crispy, stirring halfway through.
