Ghirardelli Macadamia White Chip Cookies

Happy New Year!  Resolution: Bake more cookies!

White chip and macadamia cookie

1 cup butter, softened

1 ½ cups sugar

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 eggs (room temperature)

1 ½ tsp vanilla

3 cups flour

½ tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

2 cups (1 11 oz. bag) white chips

1 ½ cups Macadamia nuts, chopped

Cream butter and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Blend in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in white chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased (or parchment-lined) cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees F.  (Makes 5 dozen)
