Mom’s Fresh Blueberry Pie

Fresh raw blueberries are mixed in with cooked berries for this pie.

1 baked pie shell

4 cups fresh blueberries

½ cup water

½ cup sugar

2 ½ tablespoons corn starch

Whipped cream

Crush 2 cups berries in saucepan; thoroughly mix sugar and cornstarch together in small bowl, add mixture to berries and add water.  Mix well; simmer till clear (about 3 minutes).  Remove from heat; pour over choice berries, mix gently until all fruit is coated.  Pour into baked pie shell.  Let cool.  Serve with whipped cream.
